Fallout Season 2 Trailer Takes Fans to New Vegas — With Deathclaws, Mr. House, and a Civil War Brewing

Amazon has finally dropped the explosive trailer for Fallout Season 2, and it’s packed with everything fans could hope for: new faces, new threats, and a trip to one of the franchise’s most iconic locations — New Vegas.

The trailer opens with Lucy (Ella Purnell) and The Ghoul (Walton Goggins) journeying across the wasteland toward the glowing ruins of New Vegas. The city looks very much alive — or undead — complete with “Elvis Ghouls” strutting down the Strip. We also catch up with Thaddeus, whose exposure to a mysterious serum in Season 1 left him immune to radiation. Unfortunately, it now seems to be mutating him in horrific ways, as something grotesque begins to grow from his collarbone. The mysterious salesman who sold him the serum is also back, heading toward Vegas — and likely bringing more trouble with him.

Meanwhile, the surviving residents of Vault 33, including Lucy’s father Hank MacLean (Kyle MacLachlan), emerge into the wasteland for the first time. Lucy’s mission is clear: bring her father to justice for his actions in Season 1. Hank, on the other hand, appears to be thriving — dressed to impress and conducting sinister experiments that suggest he’s far from remorseful.

The Ghoul’s storyline takes a political turn when he arrives at a New California Republic camp. The NCR appears to be recruiting him for an upcoming conflict — possibly against Caesar’s Legion, the Brotherhood of Steel, or both. Whatever the case, the trailer teases that “a civil war is coming,” promising an even grander scale of chaos than before.

One of the most emotional reveals comes when The Ghoul and Lucy enter a mysterious vault. There, he confides that he’s been wandering the wasteland for over 200 years for one reason: to find his family. Their fate remains uncertain after the nuclear devastation that reshaped the world.

Fans of Fallout: New Vegas will be thrilled to spot a familiar face — Mr. House — appearing on a screen exactly as in the classic game. His robotic calm and cryptic warnings add a layer of nostalgia and tension. The trailer also features what sounds like Ron Perlman’s unmistakable voice delivering the series’ legendary line, “War never changes.”

Newcomers Kumail Nanjiani and Macaulay Culkin join the cast, while Maximus (Aaron Moten) is shown in a dramatic showdown wearing Power Armor — facing off against a massive Deathclaw. In short: Fallout Season 2 looks bigger, bolder, and bloodier than ever.
